Viewing the audit logs

The audit log is a record of all the actions taken by moderators in a group chat. You can view the audit log to see who did what and when in the group chat.

Good to know:

• Only members with the View Audit Log permission can view the audit log.

How to view the audit log

1. Go to your group chat and tap the Group info button (it looks like an i in a circle) at the top right of the screen.

2. Once you’re there, if you have the View Audit Log permission, you’ll see the Audit log button. Tap it to view the audit log.

3. You’re now in the audit log screen. Here you can see all the actions taken by moderators in the group chat.

4. You can tap on an action to see more details about it.

5. You can also filter the audit log by action type and moderator.

Important to know:

• The audit log only shows the actions taken by moderators. It doesn’t show the actions taken by regular members.
• Logs older than 7 days are automatically deleted.
