Selling items

Wanna have your own shop in JOI? You can! Here’s how you can sell items in JOI:

Add an item to the shop

  1. First, go to the Explore page, then tap the “Shop” tab.

  2. Tap the Sell Item button and tap the Pick card to select the item from your inventory that you want to sell.

  3. Once you’ve picked the item, you can pick a new name and description for the item. You can also set the price, we give you a suggestion based on the item quality, but you can lower or increase it as you wish. Also, you can set the stock, if you have more than one item to sell.

Sell item

  1. You can mark the item as NSFW (Not Safe For Work) if it contains adult content. This will make the item only visible to users who have enabled the NSFW filter. Go check our Item Policy to know when you should mark an item as NSFW.

  2. You can also make it available or not, if you want to keep it private for now.

  3. Once you’re ready, tap Add to Shop. And that’s it, you’ve added your item to the shop! You can now see it in the list of items available for purchase.

Important to know: You can sell items that you bought or received as a gift but you won’t be able to restock them. You can only restock items that you minted.

Share your shop

We know it’s exciting to have your own shop, so we made it easy for you to share it with your friends!

  1. Go to the Item Shop and tap the filter icon.

  2. Type your username in the Creator field, you will notice that the URL will change to something like joiarc.com/explore/shop?from=yourusername. Share this link with your friends and they will see all the items you have for sale!

Good to know: If you have NSFW items in your shop, make sure to also check the Show NSFW items box, so the link will also include them.

Editing an item

If you want to change the name, description, price, mark it as NSFW, or make it available or not, you can do it at any time.

  1. Tap the item you want to edit in the Item Shop.

  2. Tap the pencil icon to edit the item.

  3. Make the changes you want and tap Save Changes.

That’s it! You’ve successfully edited your item.

Restocking an item

Let’s say you’re a restaurant owner and you’ve run out of your famous dish. You can restock it at any time!

  1. Tap the item you want to restock in the Item Shop.

  2. Tap the open box icon to restock the item.

  3. Type the quantity you want to add and tap Restock.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully restocked your item.

Good to know:

  • You can only restock items that you minted. If you bought or received an item as a gift, you won’t be able to restock it.
  • The restocked items are not added from your inventory, they are minted again. So you will need to pay the minting fee. That’s why we suggest a price higher than the minting fee when you add an item to the shop, so you can profit from the sales.
