How to delete a Post

You can delete any of your posts at any time. Here’s how you can do it. Note that you can only delete your own posts, not others’.

If you want to remove a repost from your profile, you can undo your repost.

How to delete a Post

1. Go to the post you want to delete.

2. Click on the More icon (three dots) in the top right corner of the post.

3. Click the Delete button. Confirm the deletion if prompted.

How to delete multiple posts

We don’t have a way to delete multiple posts at once. You’ll have to delete them one by one. If you have a lot of posts, consider creating a new JOI and deleting your old one. You won’t need a new email, remember JOIs are just like profiles.

What happens when you delete a post

• We remove it from your profile, timeline, and any other place inside JOI where it was visible. The content will no longer be publicly available.
• Reposts of your post will also be removed.
• Quote posts won’t be removed, but the quoted post won’t be visible anymore.
• Posts may be cached in search engines or other services, so it may take some time for them to be removed from there. We can’t control this.
